Dressage Dorset Showground - Roly

Saturday we headed back to Dorset Showground for the Trailblazers second rounds to try and get qualified for the championships which are being held in August.

We competed in two classes being the Prelim and the Novice again. Plan was to ensure accurate and consistent tests so that we could squeeze out as many marks as possible.

I had the lovely Deb Hounsome calling my tests for me as riding 4 in a day, I didn't want to get them all muddled up!

The Prelim 14 went super and we scored a great score of 75.67% with judges comments of "A polished performance on a quality horse. Easy to judge". This gave us 1st place! 

The Novice 28 went well too. A couple of transitions I feel we could have improved on at the start and the last few movements were a bit rushed due to me missing one of Deb's calls so I didn't prepare for my Medium trot quite early enough. It knocked our score ever so slightly however we still scored a super 70.83% to take another win!! 

So that's us qualified for the Trailblazers championships in August! Exciting times ahead!
