Bought as a 7 year old from Simon Davies in the UK, Zarina had been imported from Holland after having 2 foals.
On purchasing Zarina she was a blank canvass only recently broken but showed all the attributes to be a real winner. She was sharp, quick, careful, bold and scopey.She competed throughout the levels from a novice to a Grade A 1.50m horse.
Some of her most successful results were;
- Numerous wins National classes to 1.40m
- 1st 2* Global Championship Tour London
- 1st Bath & West 1.30m Grand Prix
- 3rd Bicton 1.40m Grand Prix
- Clear Hickstead Speed Derby
She suffered a career ending injury in 2021 and was then retired from ridden work.
She now starts her breeding journey this year at Horsehill Farm with her first foal due by Chacco Volo.
